It's about to be the Hottest Day Lusaka Has Seen this Year!

As the world battles the effects of climate change, we are left to bear witness to record-breaking temperatures. 


Sub Saharan Africa is no stranger to warm weather. News beats are never short of a little heat from one or more places within the region. 


In summer, Zambian highs average a temperature of 34°c, with inherently hot regions such as Mfuwe surpassing a whooping 40°c . Source, World Data 2023. 


So far, this year, Lusaka’s high temperatures have ranged from 33°c and 35°c. 


Today, 20th November, will see a peak of 37°c which might be subject to an increase.
